Exhibitors dedicated to enhancing law enforcement will be participating in this year’s conference, providing the latest police equipment, services, technology and publications.  We encourage you to visit their booths, but more importantly, we ask that you keep them in mind when deciding to purchase equipment for your department.

Cut-off Date for Most Hotels - August 20, 2026

Room rates are based on single or double occupancy, standard guest rooms.  Additional charges may be incurred for room upgrades, additional guest(s) staying in the room, etc. All hotel guests will be charged up to $2.50 cents per day for their room for the City of Savannah.  Please note, a $6.00 hotel-motel fee is imposed on each calendar night a hotel room is rented in Georgia. These charges are NOT exempt. Hotels may fill up quickly (prior to the hotel registration deadline) so we suggest you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.  Tax Exempt Forms for both State Sales Tax and Hotel/Motel Excise Tax will be available in the conference registration app. Self-Parking is included for all hotels, including overflow hotels.  Valet parking may incur an additional fee. Ferry Service is available. The Savannah Belles Ferry System stops at the Convention Center (at the Westin), City Hall (at the Hyatt), and at the statue of the Waving Girl.

Registration Fees for 2026 Fall Training Conference

Meals

• Monday evening, GACP will host a casual reception (dinner provided) and Officer/Supervisor of the Year Awards. Western attire is encouraged.

• GACP provides a complimentary breakfast at the beginning of each business meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Breakfast on Wednesday will include the Chief of the Year Award and Board Swearing-In Ceremonies.  *Smart/dressy/refined casual dress is required. 

• Refreshments will be offered between training breaks throughout the conference. 

Status / Dues
Membership Dues must be paid before attending the Fall Training Conference. If you are unsure about the status of your membership, please contact us at 770-495-9650 or check your status online.  Membership dues are not refundable. 

Cancellation / Refund Policy
Cancellation/refund requests received before August 24th will receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received from August 25th through September 7th will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after September 7th. All cancellation requests must be sent via email at [email protected] Refunds will not be granted for no-shows.  Any member who registers, does not pay, and is a “no-show” will be billed 100% of the registration fee.
