ATTENDEE REGISTRATION

The Summer Training Conference is a wonderful opportunity for you to network with other members while receiving valuable training. Exhibitors dedicated to enhancing law enforcement will be participating in this year’s conference, providing the latest police equipment, services, technology and publications.  We encourage you to visit their booths, but more importantly, we ask that you keep them in mind when making decisions to purchase equipment for your department.

The following link will allow you to register for any of our contracted hotels at a discounted group rate. Please note you must book your rooms early to receive the GACP discount and rooms are subject to availability.

Room rates are based on single or double occupancy, standard guest rooms.  Additional charges may be incurred for room upgrades, additional guest(s) staying in the room, etc. All hotel guests will be charged up to $2.50 cents per day for their room for the City of Savannah.  Please note, a $6.00 hotel-motel fee is imposed on each calendar night a hotel room is rented in Georgia. These charges are NOT exempt. Hotels may fill up quickly (prior to the hotel registration deadline) so we suggest you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.  Tax Exempt Forms for both State Sales Tax and Hotel/Motel Excise Tax will be available in the conference registration app. Self-Parking is included for all hotels, including overflow hotels.  Valet parking may incur an additional fee. Ferry Service is available. The Savannah Belles Ferry System stops at the Convention Center (at the Westin), City Hall (at the Hyatt), and at the statue of the Waving Girl. There is a $5.00 fee to park at the Savannah International Trade Center.

Meals
GACP provides complimentary breakfast Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning. Refreshments will be offered between training breaks throughout the conference. Sunday evening, GACP will host a casual reception and dinner will be offered. Lunch will be provided during Tuesday’s Board Installation Meeting at no additional charge for the General Membership. Life members, spouses and guests are welcome to attend but additional tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Please note, this event has limited seating, so it is imperative that you RSVP when registering. You will not be allowed to enter without a ticket. Business attire/uniforms are required.

Status / Dues
Membership Dues must be paid before attending the Summer Training Conference. If you are unsure about the status of your membership, please contact us at 770-495-9650 or check your status online.  Membership dues are not refundable. 

Cancellation / Refund Policy
Any registration cancellation must be made in writing, which can be mailed, faxed or emailed ([email protected]) to GACP. Cancellations / refund requests received on or before July 5 will receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received July 6 through July 12 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after July 12. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Any members who register, do not pay, and are a “no-show” will be billed 50% of the registration fee. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows.
